Free Contract Generator — Fill In the Blanks, Download Your Contract

Turn a few details into a basic agreement. This tool is for freelancers, small businesses, and anyone who needs a simple contract fast: pick a contract type, fill in the names, dates, and payment details, and get a clean document you can print or save as PDF. It assembles fixed, general-purpose templates from your inputs — there is no AI writing here, and it is not legal advice.

Privacy: this tool runs entirely in your browser. It makes no network requests and has no backend. Nothing you type is uploaded. Closing the page discards it.

Build your contract

The fields below adjust to the type you pick. Payment fields are hidden for the NDA.

For service and contractor agreements, describe the work. For an NDA, describe why the parties are sharing confidential information.

Choose the schedule, or pick Custom and write your own.

The jurisdiction whose law you want to govern this agreement. This is your choice to make — the template does not choose for you. If you leave it blank, the document will say the parties still need to agree on one.

Your contract

No contract yet — fill in the details above and choose Generate contract.

How it works

You pick one of three contract types — Freelance Service Agreement, Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement, or Independent Contractor Agreement — and fill in the parties, the effective date, the term, and (except for the NDA) the payment details. The generator then assembles one of three fixed, general-purpose templates with your details and renders a document with numbered sections and signature blocks. Nothing is written by AI — the wording is fixed in advance and only your details are inserted.

Examples

Illustrative example: Freelance Service Agreement between “Ava Rahman” and “Bright Studio Ltd”, effective 1 December 2026, term 6 months, scope “Design of a 10-page marketing website, including two rounds of revisions”, payment $2,500.00 with “Payment within 14 days of invoice”, governing law “California, USA”. The generator produces a titled document with numbered sections (Services, Term, Payment, Independent contractor status, Confidentiality, Termination, Governing law, Entire agreement), two signature blocks with date lines, and a footer stating the document is a general-purpose template and not legal advice.
